Kids and non-standard costumes

What do your kids want to be for Halloween?  So far, ours don't want to be anything you'd normally see on the street at Halloween. Instead, they want to be these things.

• a bat with no skull
• a Zombie Granny
• dead Tweety Bird

Oh yes. We are embracing the gothic in our house!

Is there a costume shop that helps with this kind of thing?

Dead Michael Jackson

As we approach the day itself, the stores carry ever more unexpected Halloween items. 

Our local hardware store is selling "Dead Michael Jackson" for people to hang at their door. It does seem kinda odd. They're not Thriller skeletons either. This is Michael with his hat and tie and sparkly glove. 

The same store also has dead Lady Gaga too, but that doesn't seem as weird somehow.
